The Monastery Gardens

A place of peace, beauty and quiet reflection

Guests are welcome to explore the monastery gardens with their yew-hedged paths watched over by a statue of St Michael. From the lawns, there are striking views of the Abbey with its magnificent Church, a masterpiece by Edward Welby Pugin—one of the great Gothic Revival architects of the 19th century. Enjoy stunning view over the rolling Herefordshire countryside with Hay Bluff and the Black Mountains on the horizon.
