The Monastery Gardens

A place of peace, beauty and quiet reflection

Visitors are welcome to explore the monastery gardens with their yew-hedged paths watched over by a statue of St Michael. From the lawns, there are striking views of the Abbey with its magnificent Church, a masterpiece by Edward Welby Pugin—one of the great Gothic Revival architects of the 19th century.
